Bonnie was the driving force behind Joachim Splichal's Patina Restaurant Group's sales division for 13 years, transforming average sales departments into thriving, over-achieving sales teams that generated substantial revenue in the Southern California and Las Vegas markets.
While at The Patina Group, Bonnie served as Director of Special Events in Los Angeles, Director of Catering at the Music Center in downtown Los Angeles, and Senior Director of Sales for the West Coast. She grew her initial team of two sales people in the restaurant division to a high-powered sales team of 10, selling $11 million annually. Bonnie was the first sales person in the company to personally sell $1 million in events within the four walls of a restaurant. Bonnie managed the sales efforts of turn-around units, luxury units such as the flagship Patina Restaurant, and wedding units such as Cafe Pinot, where she more than doubled event revenue in one year. Her strong relationships with corporate and social clients, and wedding and event planners, created a steady stream of revenue that allowed her to exceed sales budgets year in and year out. Through her professional leadership style, Bonnie reduced sales manager turnover to the lowest levels ever seen in the company, while mentoring and grooming young sales people into top-producing talent. Bonnie was also responsible for innovative initiatives such as secret shopping the sales team and the "VIP Touch Program".
Bonnie is a past member of the Board of Directors of ISES (International Special Events Society), a past member of the steering committee of ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants) and was a featured "master" at the annual ISES Meet The Masters event. She has personally overseen over 1,000 events, from the MPI Closing Reception for 3,000 guests to the annual Pixar Oscar party for 120 guests.
